Dr. Rai is a graduate of the University of British Columbia and board certified in Plastic Surgery in 1975. He became American Board Certified in 1977. Dr. Rai was Chief of Surgery for the Simon Fraser Health Region from 1989-1999 and Chief of the Department of the Canadian Society for Aesthetic (Cosmetic) Plastic Surgery and the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. Dr. Rai is also a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. Dr. Rai was also awarded the Governor General's Award for his humanitarian work with Operation Rainbow, a foundation which he founded.
Dr. Ukani obtained a bachelors degree in Queen's University in Life Sciences. He graduated from McGill University where he completed his 5 year residency training program in Plastic Surgery. He is a board certified member of the Royal College of Physician of Canada, as well as the Canadian Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. When he is not operating, Dr. Ukani is a busy father to his two children and is also part of the Operation Rainbow Canada team.
